There will be three ticketed sessions for the event which are for elite category finals that will see Canada’s multi-medal winning Pan-American and Parapan-American Games cyclists return to the track with the goal of winning a Canadian Championship title and be graced with the coveted Red and White Jersey.
Wednesday, October 7th 6pm:
qualifying and finals for team sprint and team pursuit in the Elite category.
Thursday, October 8th 6pm:
Sprint racing for Elites with the semi-final and final best of three rides taking place.
Friday, October 9th 6:30pm:
sprint and endurance racing with the keirin and the points race to complete the elite omnium races for both.
Cost: $25 online, $30 on-site (25% off for Youth and Seniors)
All other sessions will be free.
Over the course of five days, a modern era record-high 222 track cyclists coming from all over Canada will converge to the Mattamy National Cycling Center velodrome and compete for the ultimate honors of earning the red and white jersey, awarded to the Canadian Champion.
Cycling Canada's Hall of Fame
The Championship weekend will also feature a special celebration of the inaugural class of inductees into Cycling Canada’s Hall of Fame on Saturday, October 10th. An unveiling of commemorative plaques will take place at 11 am at the velodrome followed at Noon by a luncheon.
