Athletics Canada: Levins, Nettey and Theisen-Eaton set Canadian Records

The weekend saw three more Canadian records as Cam Levins (10,000m), Christabel Nettey (long jump) and Brianne Theisen-Eaton set new all-time Canadian bests.

The outdoor season is still young but Canadian athletes have already set 11 Canadian records.

Cam Levins

Cam Levins set a new Canadian record of 27:07.51 Friday evening at the PreClassic in Eugene, Oregon.

Christabel improved her Canadian record in the women's long jump to 6.99-metres.  

The top 3 of the Women's Long Jump at the 2015 Prefontaine Classic in Eugene 1 Tianna Bartoletta (USA): 7.11m 2 Christabel Nettey (CAN): 6.99m 3 Lorraine Ugen (GBR): 6.89m

Brianne Theisen-Eaton

Brianne improved the Canadian record with a win at the Hypo-Meeting with a score of 6808 points.
